If you still receive spam messages or the spam filters start preventing genuine emails from reaching your mailbox, you can switch to some other level just as easily. The efficiency of our spam detection service is guaranteed by one of the most famous email filters – SpamAssassin. If you do not want to risk skipping a legitimate message that may be classified as spam due to its content, you can also create custom email filters based on the sender, the body or the subject of the message and redirect the emails to a different email account where you can examine them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you will not have to worry about junk emails occupying your mailboxes every now and then, as you can take advantage of the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we provide with each semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any email account with a few clicks of the mouse and you can choose one of the 5 security levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for example, genuine messages get blocked, or if junk messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered emails to be redirected to a special mailbox like firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be erased. In this way, you can check them every now and then to ensure that you have not missed out on a genuine message.
