E-mail Forwarding in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting plan with us and you set up email addresses inside your account, you will be able to forward it with no more than a few clicks to another address of your preference. The feature can be activated whenever you make a brand new email address or any time later and disabled just as quickly if you change your mind. This is done through the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you will control your account. Additionally, you will have the option to decide whether a backup of the inbound e-mails will remain on our servers or not. The main benefit of this feature is basically that you will always have a backup on your server if anything occurs with the other email address or maybe it isn't active for some reason at the time an e-mail message is forwarded. When the option is not active, an e-mail will be received, forwarded and deleted from our system no matter if the remote e-mail is working or not, so it is usually a wise decision for it to be enabled just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
For people with a semi-dedicated server from us, it will take you just a few mouse clicks inside the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the e-mails configured on our system to a third-party address. In the same section you will additionally be able to observe how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and where the incoming e-mails are sent. It is possible to activate or deactivate a forwarding account at any time and during the process you can also decide if a copy of the e-mails needs to be maintained in our system or not. Even though this feature is not a requirement, it's very valuable as you will have a backup copy of the emails on our end in the event that something occurs with the third-party email address. Even when they have just a temporary issue, you run the risk of losing e-mail messages as the moment our server gets and forwards a message, absolutely nothing will be maintained on our end if you haven’t chosen a backup to be kept.
