The restrictions have induced some questions considering the fact that the generic top-level domain name extension is the only one that specifies what devices need to be able to access a website and the way in which this should happen, breaking the so-called principles of device independence, according to which a web page should be designed in such a way as to be accessed by the majority of Internet browsers and devices, be they mobile or stationary.
